Description

An abandoned barn with animal stalls & office/sitting area. Structure is in rough shape but stable. Could possible be a place where animals were sold but that's just a guess. Active houses across the busy road but I doubt anyone cares about it.

Sorry, no history.

There is another great abandoned site up the road on highway 5 at the St. George village sign. That would be my other grandparents farm.

This was once my Grandfathers farm. He raised cattle there. Once there were two 100 foot tall silos and a much larger barn. The part in your pictures is the milk room and main part of the barn.
He was born in the house much like the rest of his kin before him. He sold it in 1988. The barn and house rubble is no longer there as who ever owns the property now had a controlled burn. That was Novemb

I just realized that this barn was part of the same site as my post on Hwy 24 & 5.

"Abandoned barn .... in rough shape but stable". haha I found that funny. Barn / stable both used for livestock ... sick sense of humor... sorry
