Demolished House in Thorold, Ontario, Canada

Recent status Demolished
Location # 4888

A small house hidden away in a field just east of the Welland canal. With a very thick treeline immediately to the west of the house, it is suggested you approach walking along the Welland canal path and cut through the trees. House is in terrible shape and footing is a serious concern at this location. Breathing mask is suggested, as the upstairs floor is covered in drywall dust.

Me too, and on top of that, I was a bit shocked that it had an entire 2nd floor!! I mean, duhhhh, of course one can see the 2nd floor windows from the outside, but I sort of thought it was more of an attic space, not a full out set of bedrooms. Whoever built this house was good! They crammed a great deal of living space into a very small, war-time package.

I thought this place would have been much worse inside.
