Description
Seen along Kawartha Lakes Rd 35 about halfway between Monck Rd and McNamee Rd, windmill once used for watering cattle. I did a loop down Kawartha Lakes 35 to McNamee Rd, then over to Kawartha Lakes Rd 6 (Kirkfield Rd) and back up through Dalrymple, saw a couple more of these along the way.

There are 5 of these right near to this one just off Black Bear Rd..This is ghost town of Horncastle..check my write-up..

Thanks! It first caught my eye silhouetted against the sun, glad I ventured into the field for some closer views. Looks like old pasture land no longer in use, would still belong to someone though!

Great shots. These windmills are a pretty common site in this area, must be dozens of them scattered about.
