Built in 1916, this was the first concrete bridge constructed at this location, replacing a wooden crossing nearby. Vehicle traffic has since been rerouted to a modern bridge just meters from this location.

The 1916 Bow Truss bridge is used for foot and bicycle traffic, having long since been retired as the primary river crossing.

I hope the bridge is checked every so often. Don't want any one getting hurt!
